About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 5 years of clinical experience. I have received training and supervision in university medical centers, state hospitals, college counseling centers, and private practice. I have specialized training in anxiety/stress, adjustment difficulties, sleep problems, relationship issues, career problems, and coping with chronic medical illness. I utilize a combination of cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, positive psychology, and interpersonal therapies.

My warm and empathetic demeanor provides a comfortable environment in which your needs can really be heard. I believe my job is to lend a listening ear, support you, and also equip you with the tools to help you manage difficulties and problems in the future. Our sessions are about you, and what will help you the most.

Dr. Kogan is gentle, kind, and intelligent. She listens to everything I say and offers me great advice for dealing with the problems I face. I pour my heart out and write her long, long messages, and she always responds right away and addresses each and every one of my concerns. She has so much expertise on helping me manage my issues and worries. She gives me coping mechanisms that I use constantly. Talking to her is always a great experience, and getting her advice has been so helpful. I am so glad that she is here to help me. It's like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. I would recommend her to absolutely everyone. She has such a good understanding of anxiety, depression, women's issues, family issues, and so much more. Dr. Kogan is a phenomenal therapist and counselor with genuine compassion and concern for her patients. Since our work together, she has provided me with numerous actionable exercises and strategies to manage and cope with a variety stressors and anxieties that I've faced as a result of a traumatic life event. Her concern, engagement, and availability has been and continues to be a tremendous source of support in my life.

Dr. Kogan is a highly competent professional who is equally attentive and insightful. She has provided me with the tools to succeed and free me from my own self-inflicted problems, with which she has helped me to address. I am extremely grateful to have her as my counselor. It's only been a short time with Dr. Kogan, but she has already helped me a lot. The level of detail she goes into is really incredible, and she goes to great lengths to address every single concern, while also keeping a big picture mindset and trying to prioritize activities and efforts for the fastest and most effective recovery. I would 100% recommend her to others in need of counseling.

She is an expert, she listens to you and is capable of quickly identifying the root of your concerns and problems. I would recommend her. My wife and I are both doing therapy with her.

Dr. Kogan is very responsive and even though we have spoken just one time she did give me ways and ideas on how I can relieve stress and gave me accountability on how I can do those things. She also is very responsive to text messaging via BetterHelp as well. I totally recommend her.
