I counsel from a person-centered individualized approach. I provide my clients a safe haven to work on issues they wish to change with empathy and compassion while providing tools to empower them. I possess a bachelor's degree in psychology from Michigan State University. I also possess a Master's degree in counseling from Oakland University obtained in 2004. I am licensed in the state of Michigan and am a Nationally Certified Counselor.
I am a certified rehabilitation counselor. I have experience in individual, couples, and group therapy with both children and adults. I have achieved success with clients diagnosed with anxiety, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorders, marital issues, and more. In addition, I have experience in vocational rehabilitation counseling and working with those with disabilities. I am also a Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist allowing me to provide case management in a work setting. I am passionate about mental health care and believe in a person's ability to change and grow.
