About me

Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Case Manager (CCM) in Wisconsin. I graduated with my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Cardinal Stritch University in 2011. I have been practicing in the behavioral health field since 2013. I have experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder. I have also worked with individuals dealing with a wide range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, and substance use and abuse. I have extensive experience in connecting individuals to resources and services to best help them in reaching their goals.

I work with clients to come up with an individualized plan based on their input. Each person is so different and unique, and should be treated as such. For this reason, it is important for the counselor approach to also be individualized. If something doesn't seem like a good fit or you have concerns, I encourage open communication to ensure that you feel your needs are being met and welcome the opportunity to discuss any concerns that may arise within the therapeutic relationship. You are the expert on yourself and I am here to help however I can!

I utilize motivational interviewing as well as mindfulness techniques to help with stress, anxiety, and depression. Every person has their specific talents and strengths which are important to recognize in therapy, and can be used when working to improve upon what may be seen as the less desirable qualities you are trying to change. I take a non-judgmental approach and focus on meeting my clients where they are at to best help them get to where they want to be.
