Julie Valenziano, LPC
About me
Hello and thank you for taking a moment to read about me. At times throughout our journey, we need safe people to process with so we can move forward. I understand how vulnerable it is to share deep struggles and how valuable it is to feel comfortable and open with a counselor. This is why my biggest goal is to establish trust in a therapeutic relationship with clients in order to really understand what they want. I strive to always show the respect and sensitivity clients deserve.
I have an empathetic and solution-focused style that draws from a strength-based and family systems orientation. Because I believe in the importance of having healthy and life-giving relationships, I completed a Marriage and Family Certificate through Denver Family Institute after I obtained my Masters of Arts in Community Counseling at Denver Seminary. I have over 10 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, and children across a variety of settings including a private practice, clinics and community agencies. In addition, I have taught counseling classes to aspiring professionals as an adjunct professor at Judson University in IL. I have had the honor of working with many individuals and families through issues including trauma, attachment, parenting problems, relationship and communication struggles, grief, depression, mood disorders, anxiety, and emotional regulation.
I hope you find a counselor that will help you move forward with the changes you desire. It would be a privilege to work with you!

Julie is very helpful ! Gives me different ways to handle my situations in a healthy way. She was always very sweet and understanding. I feel she has been very very non-judgmental towards me and my situations and is always helpful with everything.
