About me

I am licensed marriage and family therapist in California. I have experience in helping clients with mood disorders, anxiety, relational issues, family conflict, and gender- and race-related stressors. I utilize a variety of evidence-based interventions, though I pull heavily from feminist therapy and LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapy. I'm especially interested in exploring how the systems you find yourself in (school, work, relationships, family, etc.) contribute to and/or buffer against mental health struggles. I approach therapy with compassion, collaboration, and curiosity. I look forward to working with you and witnessing your growth and strength.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Justin Huft. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Justin was very thoughtful and clear in our sessions of how to work on my dynamics within my immediate family. It was very validating but at the same time, he pushed me to recognize my behavior that I needed to change and didn't just listen and agree. I appreciated that as it was helpful to get out of my head.
