I am licensed in Colorado with 3 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, depression, life transitions, and more.
My theoretical approach is eclectic and I tailor my work to each client's individual needs; however, my main theoretical lens is Relational-Cultural. As social beings, I believe humans innately move towards & grow in connection with others. Thus, when relationships are fraught with disconnections, frequent conflict, unequal & unhealthy power dynamics, and the like, our mental health suffers greatly. I help clients explore historical and current relational patterns and their effect on current functioning. Armed with this knowledge, I incorporate different techniques for helping my clients learn new strategies for coping with disruptive symptoms they may be experiencing.
As your therapist, I will walk alongside you through life's natural ups and downs and will provide a safe space in which to process past trauma, feel heard, learn new skills, and grow towards improved mental wellness. I hope to join you on your courageous journey to a healthier, happier life!
