About Me

I am a proud licensed mental health professional, and take great honor in doing this important, sacred work with each client. I hold a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in both Texas and Louisiana, and am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board for Certified Counselors. What does this mean for you, a potential client? In short, you’ve found a mental health professional that has advanced clinical training and education, and is held to a high standard of professional ethics and practice.

I have almost ten years of professional experience in mental health counseling, psychology, and research. I have had the privilege to work with clients, couples, families, and groups in all ages and stages of life. My specialties include depression, anxiety, stress, and worry concerns, romantic relationship/marital difficulties, adjustments to life's changes and transitions, grief and loss, peer relationship difficulties, family conflict, women's issues, sexuality, and sexual concerns.

I appreciate your consideration in determining if we may be a good fit to help you reach your goals towards health and wellness. I view counseling, first, as the acknowledgement that you are the expert in your own life and experiences - but, sometimes we need a trusted source to help unpack, process, and move forward. Together, we will work in a supportive, warm, nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship to identify areas of concern and move forward towards reaching your identified goals and improved health and wellness. I look forward to taking this journey with you!

I feel like I was paired with the right Therapist for me. I'm only on my 3rd session but from the start I felt completely comfortable opening up to Kaitlin. She is a great listener and has given me some tools that have already impacted my life greatly.

Kaitlin has been an amazing counselor and I am truly so thankful for her insight and her ability to make me feel like I’m able to just speak freely. She is the best!
