About Me
I see myself first as a listener. My background and the majority of my experiences has taught me that many of us go through this world at a breakneck speed with a direction of focus because we haven't been given enough signs that if we slow down and just relax that someone will actually be there to listen to our struggles and be concerned with our best interests. I've worked with the developmentally disabled, the incarcerated, young people with mental illness and substance abuse problems, people suffering from acute and long term psychosis, older people with debilitating cognitive problems, and people with general life issues, among others. The strand that seemed to tie all of these different types of individuals together was the need to be seen and heard first, before being told what they should do, or before being judged in some way, which is all too often the case. So I'm here to listen. I'm here to allow those who feel voiceless to first develop their voice and direction. If you'd like to start there I'd be happy to help.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Dr. Kaleb Singleton. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I rarely walk away from time with Dr. Singleton without actionable next steps and greater peace of mind. Pleased to have him helping me walk through life’s various challenges
Dr. Singleton helped me find love in myself. I always extended love to other people but never found self love. Now I love myself. I am happy. I am doing all the things I doubted myself before. Thank you -Shakayla

Dr. Singleton was amazing! He listens and is very knowledgeable in supporting those dealing with trauma.
Very personable! Makes the sessions go by smoothly and very fast.
Dr Singleton has helped so much in helping me to see toxic patterns of thinking in my life. I'm grateful for his gentleness and insight. He clearly approaches his job with a clear sense of professionalism and patience.
I always feel heard and validated by Dr. Singleton. Working with him has allowed me to slow down and reflect and re-evaluate how I am processing a lot of my stressors. I feel like I am able to give myself the “okay” to breathe and form new thoughts about situations. It has been unbelievably impactful in how I allow myself to feel day to day. I had never considered therapy in the past but I am really thankful to have found this resource.
Dr. Singleton has been a huge help along my journey. He has been a great listener and also guided me to a better mental space. He has made me feel extremely comfortable and empowered through the process of our meetings. Furthermore, he has helped to put things into a positive perspective and to reframe my challenges I have experienced. I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Singleton is a highly skilled professional who is also warm and empathetic. I felt he understood me much better and quicker than my previous 3 therapists did. I appreciate how he doesn't jump to solution-ing, and instead offers his full presence to sit with me in processing my anger and grief when I needed it most. His encouragement to allow me to acknowledge my emotions, no matter how unjustified, without pressuring me to "move on" before I was ready has helped me gain self-acceptance and actually move forward much more effectively and sooner than I've been able to in the past. I highly recommend counseling with Dr. Singleton.
