I help people struggling with stress, anxiety, and overwhelm learn the skills they need to feel more calm and present and improve their relationships with their spouses and children. I particularly enjoy working with parents and I have experience treating individuals and couples around family conflict, parenting issues, divorce, grief and loss, or other major life changes. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, my approach differs from other counselors in that treatment is family and relationship based. This means that even when working with individuals, I strive to understand people in the context of their relationships with their parents, children, spouses, or other important people in their lives. I focus on helping people improve their relationships and parenting skills, and guide them through analyzing and understanding how their relationship patterns may affect their lives. I use a Solution-Focused approach which helps clients identify and achieve attainable goals and builds on strengths they already have. While I use evidence-based practices, I tailor them to meet the needs of my clients and spend a lot of time getting to know and understand my clients. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Oregon and Washington and have been practicing for six years in a variety of settings, including private practice, agencies, and schools.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my four year old son, going on adventures hiking and backpacking in the Pacific Northwest, or knitting and reading at home.

I find her questions are leading me through the thought process I need.
She’s great and challenges me.
After multiple traumatic experiences regarding the western healthcare community, I was really frightened to give it another try. Working with Kayleigh, I feel safe to express myself without judgement, and I am so grateful to have connected with her. Words cannot express the gentle strength of this woman's mighty heart and sound mind.
She makes me feel safe and comfortable. I can ask "stupid" questions without worrying that she'll judge me.
Fantastic advice so far.
