Kalle Kula, LPC
About me
Hello!
My name is Kalle Kula. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. I am a Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional (CCFP). I am currently working on my Certification to become a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP).
I have over 15 years of experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, conduct related issues, ADHD, adjustment issues, relationship, and family issues. This includes individual therapy in residential, school based, and outpatient settings. I am experienced in working with people ranging from early childhood to late adulthood. I have developed a passion for working with teens.
I would describe my approach to therapy as eclectic, drawing on a variety of approaches to best serve a client’s needs and goals. The approaches include, but are not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. I believe that we can change the way we feel & act by changing the way we think.
I view the therapeutic relationship as a partnership requiring mutual trust, respect, honesty, communication, and commitment to do the work. I will support you through a warm, open minded, non-judgmental approach. I believe in the balance of listening, self-reflection and promoting your personal growth. I would be honored to work with you through this stage of your life and look forward to our journey together.
