After only a few sessions I already feel like I’ve had some breakthroughs with Karen. She asks the right questions and makes me think for myself, allows me the floor to express everything I need to, and then provides the support I need to help me move forward instead of staying stuck in a pattern. She has worksheets for me to help dig deeper, too. I am really looking forward to continuing my therapy with Karen and strengthening myself with her help. Thanks Karen!

Karen made me feel at ease the minute we started talking. She was very easy to share my story with and be vulnerable. Right from the start she has challenged me with tough questions that make me really process and think. At the same time she provides Christian insight and grace with encouragement and truth all weaved together. I love how she takes the time to send worksheets and resources that all add to my journey outside of our weekly sessions. Karen is truly an answer to prayer

I would certainly recommend Karen to anyone who might benefit from her expert help.

I have only had two going on three sessions with Karen and she is an absolute delight. Karen is relaxed, client focused, amazing conversationalist and down to earth. I feel extremely supported not only on session days but also throughout the week and she also checks in briefly on my progress with worksheets she assigns me then gives me the encouragement that I did them well and how nice they are to read. I would recommend her to everyone new or returning to therapy. 10/10 Stars

I have had counselling in the past so I appreciate and value Karen's support even more. She is the consummate listener, allowing me to pour out my concerns, then guides me gently to reflect and consider how I can make change in my life and make me a better version of the person I am now, at peace with myself and within myself.
Written on Mar 22, 2021 after therapy with Karen for 2 weeks on issues concerning stress, anxiety, self esteem, and career difficulties
I've been counseling with Karen for 3 weeks now. I don't specifically need advice as I need a non-judgmental ear to listen and she provides just that. She asks an appropriate amount of questions to get to know me as a person and is engaging; offering tips and suggestions when applicable. I feel like I can tell her what is in my heart and on my mind without being looked down on. These are things that I feel I can tell no one else. She lets me talk and she lets me cry. She is gentle and her tone is kind and soothing. There are merits and benefits to having a counselor to turn to. Sometimes it's just easier talking to a stranger than to someone who knows you. To be honest, many of our friends/family . . . they cup runneth over as well without me burdening them with my issues. I'm glad I signed up for help and so far I'm happy I choose Karen.
