Kari Grant
About me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of North Carolina with experience providing therapy to a variety of populations. I have primarily focused on family work, military families, children, teens, and couples work. I have worked with a variety of concerns ranging from child behavior issues, depression, general and pandemic induced anxiety, parenting and relationship issues, goal setting, and increasing communication skills within relationships. I work from a trauma informed perspective.
My therapeutic style is warm, energetic, comforting and encouraging. I believe every person has a right to their own path in life and while we all take different steps to get there, I can be there to support you and encourage as I walk alongside you. I am trained in Family Centered Treatment and TF-CBT (trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy). I also use motivational interviewing and solution focused therapy in my work with individuals and families.
I recognize the strength it can take to just reach out to someone to ask for help or guidance. If you are looking for a trained, supportive, and creative person to assist you in strategizing and empowering you in your path...I am here and ready to help!
I look forward to working with you!
