Welcome! My name is Karla Smith and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Missouri. I have over 25 years of experience counseling individuals and couples. I love my job! Having the privilege to work with others as they use their courage to acknowledge what needs to be addressed and changed in their lives to grow and transform is awesome to witness. Written on May 25, 2022 after therapy with Karla for 1 year and 1 month on issues concerning stress, anxiety, and family conflicts

Karla is a very kind, gentle, nonjudgmental therapist. This is my first time seeing a therapist so I was very anxious and nervous to open up to someone I did not know (again). Karla made me feel comfortable and is always sure to let things unfold at their own pace. She is never pushy and consistently questions what needs of mine she can be of assistance to. Karla's guidance, assurance, and non-biased validation of my feelings are all things I am thankful for and exactly some of the things I was looking for in terms of finding someone I could trust. 100% Recommend. 10/10 Absolutely.
