I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of clinical experience; I currently reside in Sacramento, California. I have worked with clients in different settings/capacities (inpatient hospital, outpatient clinic's, homeless shelters). I have worked with clients with a wide range of mental health concerns/diagnosis including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, bipolar disorder, addiction, personality disorders, trauma.
My therapeutic style is welcoming and warm. I believe in meeting a client where they are at in the current time. I value forming therapeutic relationships and approach each client individually, based on a client's treatment goals and mental health concerns. I use a variety of different therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), solution orientated therapy, strength based interventions and Motivational Interviewing.
I recognize how difficult it could be to ask for help; I am happy you have taken the initial step to potentially living a more fulfilled life; I am here to support you and guide you in this process.
I am looking forward to working with you and excited for this opportunity to provide therapeutic interventions and help meet your goals!
