About me

I currently live and work out of Denver, Colorado as both a professional artist, art therapist, and licensed psychotherapist As both a Psychotherapist and Art Therapist, I offer a unique opportunity for clients to process their experiences. Through a combination of making art and talking, I offer the opportunity for you to communicate in your own way, allowing new perspectives to emerge with greater ease. I can help you gently push outward on the boundaries of your comfort zone, and slowly and safely practice a new and more expansive way of being. Using art therapy is entirely optional, but it is a beneficial tool in accessing and communicating what might not be available by words alone.

I work with a varied clientele covering many different issues and feel that my approach is both inviting and creative in terms of allowing clients the opportunity to find a healthy path that was designed by them, for them. I have experience with many different clientele and therapeutic settings including private practice, community agencies, prison populations, and career counseling. I use several therapeutic styles including cognitive/behavioral and reality therapies. My strengths include empathy, compassion, humor, and sensitivity to any issue that you have to bring to the table. My job is to help you help you and in doing so I am along for the ride and journey of self-discovery, healing, and growth.

Feel free to visit my website www.KatNechleba.com to get to know me and my work more. I look forward to working with you.

I would highly recommend Kat.

Kat is the most amazing cheerleader when your soul and heart feel down. She has really helped me get through my situation and brought me back! Before, I had received therapy in my city which I felt was not working, so I left it. In the same week I saw the BetterHelp ad on Facebook and I gave it a try. Kat was my second therapist and we got along perfectly. She helped me to find myself again, helped me start enjoying what I have achieved and helped me understand everyday issues differently. Also, she is a person that has a broad view of life so she can really understand you if you are dreamer, have a creative personality or if you feel you are not enjoying life. She knows how to lead you if you need to regain control on your life, your moods, your interactions and what believe you deserve.

I have nothing but gratefulness for Kat! She is an amazing therapist!

Kat is a very open and understanding person. I was surprised by her knowledge on some of the subjects I brought up and she gives good and encouraging advice. One can tell that she is there to support, help, advise and encourage you to better yourself and I appreciate that very much.
