About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and my goal is to create a warm, welcoming and empathetic space for individuals seeking to decrease pain and struggle within their lives. I work primarily with adults promoting growth and change through person centered Cognitive Behavioral and Internal Family Systems frameworks.
My practice utilizes psychoeducation, neuroscience, empowerment and evidence based practices to aid clients on their journey towards the greatest version of themselves. I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety and trauma disorders.
Humor, empathy and genuine connection are at the core of my individual practice. I use a solution focused, strength based approach to holistic healing, starting with the foundation of mindful awareness. I believe in the power of healing for any individual through the practice of thought control, distress tolerance, and communication building.

I studied psychology and philosophy in my undergraduate program at The Catholic University of America in Washington D.C., and received my Master's degree in counseling psychology from the University of Albany. I spent two years volunteering in India where I discovered a deep passion for learning about spirituality, meaning and purpose. These experiences helped to strengthen my counseling practice by placing me on the path of alleviating suffering through seeking truth, consciousness and joy.
