I am a licensed therapist in both Oregon (LPC) and Washington (LMHC) with seven years of counseling experience. I have worked with everyone from young children to adults with serious and persistent mental illness in a residential setting. Everyone has a unique journey and I meet clients where they are. I believe that you are the expert on your life and I am here to help you better understand yourself and what that looks like for you.
I approach each client and session with an open mind and heart. Depending on where you are and what you are wanting from the experience, we can go very solution-focused or existential. Life transitions are a specialty, and my role is to help you process those important times and changes.
Taking the step to engage in therapy is an important and brave one. I am so happy that you have made this step and cannot wait to work with you.

Everything is going better than before.
She helped me through one of the hardest times in my life. I would not had the courage nor strength to do what was necessary in order to succeed if it was not for her.
Kate is a professional and supportive counselor that I look forward to speaking with every session. She has helped me uncover insights, unpack behaviors, and given me really valuable feedback that has helped me navigate scenarios that have felt unmanageable. Thank you, Kate!
Kate is awesome! This is my first go at therapy and it’s been a fantastic experience so far. Really can’t explain the benefits unless you give it a go. But having a therapist listen and ask the right questions certainly helps get you through the week.
