About Me

Hello and Welcome!

I am a Pennsylvania-licensed counselor with 5 years of experience in the mental health field. I earned my Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Memphis in 2015, and since then, I have greatly enjoyed helping others meet their goals. My background includes working with children, teenagers, and adults on concerns like depression, stress management, anxiety, trauma and abuse healing, parenting problems, life transitions, and family relationships. I have worked with clients experiencing abusive relationships, poverty, self-harming behavior, and family separation among other problems. I have worked in nearly every mental health services setting, which has afforded me invaluable experience.

If you choose to work with me, my style will be warm and welcoming as well as thorough and focused. I strongly believe in validating the human experience and treating you with compassion and respect. I have worked with clients from many walks of life and appreciate what I learn from my clients' experiences. I value a resiliency-focused approach to counseling while also working to understand the problems that bring you to therapy.

Generally, I use a cognitive-behavioral approach as well as a narrative therapy approach to understand your own unique life story, but I also use dialectical behavioral and solution-focused interventions. Of course, our treatment approach will depend on you and your needs! If for any reason you are concerned I am unable to help, I encourage you to continue seeking help from another qualified professional. We all deserve to feel supported when taking steps to better our lives.

Everyone has a story, and I look forwarding to learning yours!
