Katherina Vansickel, LISW
About me
Hello! My name is Katie Vansickel, and I graduated from the University of Iowa with a Master's in Social Work (MSW) in 2013. Since then, I have been providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families in order to help them reach their goals. I believe that everyone deserves a space where they are free from judgement.
My approach is client centered, which allows me to get to know you and help you define what changes you'd like to make. In addition, I utilize CBT, Structural Family Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing techniques to encourage the process. I always practice from a trauma and attachment-based perspective.
It would be a privilege to support you on your journey!
