Katherine Ainslie-Wallace

About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Wisconsin. I have been in private practice for the past 3 years working with clients who present with symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, and family conflict. I have also helped clients who are experiencing trouble with recent life changes, death and grief, relationship issues, and parenting problems.

I am a warm and inviting person, and love to get to know people in order to better serve them. I believe that each person deserves respect, validation, and to find a therapist that helps them feel welcomed and cared for. I use a cognitive behavioral, dialectical, humanistic, and person centered approach in counseling. I believe that the approach I take needs to be flexible and suit what you need in the moment.

We all need someone to talk to. Whether we just need to vent, process, or find better ways to cope; reaching out is the first step in the journey to healing. I look forward to working with you on the start of that journey.
