Katherine "Kate" Lynch, LCSW
About me
Hi! I am Kate Lynch, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and I have been practicing therapy since 2014. As a wife, mom and many other roles in my life, I have learned that life's balance is not always simple but with the right mindset and some hard work, it can certainly be a pretty darn close.
I graduated from Ball State University in 2012 with my bachelors degree in social work and then from IUPUI in 2014 with my masters of social work. Since that time, I have worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, mental health facilities, shelters and schools. Each of these settings not only allowed me to work with a variety of interdisciplinary professionals, but a wide variety of clients as well.
I have a passion for trauma and grief therapies. I am certified in many different practices of evidence -based therapies, including TF-CBT, DBT, Exposure Therapy, and Seeking Safety. I use additional therapies such as Motivational Interviewing, Strength-Based therapy and Grief Counseling to ensure you are getting the best care proven possible.
Ultimately, I love to build up my relationships with clients and ensure each client gets what they feel they are looking for from services. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage and I am here to support you in that process.
