I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida and have been working with a variety of client issues for over 7 years. My experience includes treating depression, stress and anxiety, relationship problems, addiction problems, eating disorder behaviors, and body image issues.
I take a holistic view of problems in our lives and work with you as the expert of your own experience. I believe compassion, understanding, and the therapeutic relationship are valuable as the framework within which change will occur. I use a combination of approaches that will be catered to your individual needs, including cognitive-behavioral strategies, acceptance and commitment principles, mindfulness exercises, existential theory, a psychodynamic understanding of the development of problems, and other approaches that may be most useful.

I've had a few therapy sessions with Katherine after a long time of trying to find the right therapist- I found the one I was needing in my life to guide me. I am thankful to be working with Katherine. She is professional and patient. She has put up with a lot of wild emotion from me, but she always remains calm and focused. She is a keen listener, and is able to pluck issues out of my remarks that need focus. I was nervous to start using BetterHelp because I didn't know what to expect, but as soon as I was matched with Katherine all of my fears went away.
