I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Louisiana with 10 years of experience in behavioral health settings and 4 years of experience as a psychotherapist. Clients that I have worked with present with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, difficulty adjusting to life changes, career difficulties, obesity and chronic illness, and anger.
I believe in fostering change in people by identifying inner strengths and making positive changes, one step at a time. Making the decision to seek counseling isn't easy, and my initial goal is to make you feel as comfortable as possible. I utilize a variety of approaches and tools from different styles of therapy based on your individual needs. I am certified in Problem Solving Treatment, and have trained in several evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-informed care, and Mindfulness techniques.

Y’all if you only knew the dark place I was in when I started online counseling with Katherine, you would be amazed at the progress I have made in just a few short months.
