About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Connecticut with over 20 years of experience working with families, young adults and with those who have been involved with the foster care system as a child or foster parent. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, mood disorders, attachment issues, and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, motivational interviewing, and EMDR counseling. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek counseling for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.

I look forward to working with you!

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Kathleen Hull. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

I recommend betterhelp to everyone I know. Kathy has changed my life and I am lucky to have her support.

Kathy helped me through the immediate trauma trigger that prompted me to seek help and now I have a strong sense of comfort talking with Kathy in our biweekly virtual visits.

Some visits are fun and laughs and some are difficult situation unpacking. I love love love that she is exactly who I need. Keeping our long term connection is an investment I'm happily making in case/when I have another trauma event in my future.

Having someone on deck I can talk with without having go rehash my whole life history is clutch.

10 out of 10. 100% recommend everyone use BetterHelp.com
