About me
"Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall". (Confucius)
In other words, life can be challenging, and often may even be described as “overwhelming”, but change is possible and attainable with support, guidance, hope, and most of all, healing.
I am a licensed clinical social worker licensed in Pennsylvania with 25 years of experience . My commitment to you is to provide a safe, supportive, non-judgmental, and empathetic environment so that we can work together to achieve healing and change.
I graduated with a degree in social work from Stonybrook University and a Master of Social Work with a clinical emphasis from Adelphi University. I have worked with various populations and settings such as hospice, residential treatment facilities, partial hospitalization programs, hospitals, behavioral health, and out-patient. I have worked with clients who have experienced depression, anxiety, end of life issues, child loss, PTSD, OCD, trauma, foster care, anger issues, self-harming issues, divorce, and relational issues. I specialize in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma, anxiety, and mindfulness.
When I am not working, I am enjoying my time with my family and friends, reading, laughing, listening to music, or obsessing over my new favorite series (LOL!).
I look forward to meeting you!
