Kathryn Czervionke

About Me

Hi! My name is Kathy Czervionke and I am an LPC working in the state of Alabama. I have worked as a helping professional for over 30 years. I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of North Alabama in 1992 . My work experience includes 20 + years as a Social Worker with mental health center and public health. After earning my Master's in Guidance and Counseling from the University of West Alabama in 2001, I worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and currently work as a counselor in the academic setting. Due to my vast experience in various helping roles, I have worked with individuals from the ages of 4 days old to 104 years old! I consider it a privilege to have had the opportunity to meet and assist people from various cultures spanning every stage in life!
I utilize the framework and concepts of solution focused therapy and cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) frequently in order to assist individuals in overcoming challenges to help embrace a positive life experience. Working toward making changes for a better life is not for the faint of heart...but it CAN be done and you are WORTH it!! I feel very honored to be working with you!
