About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, currently pursuing a PhD in Christian Counseling and Psychology. I have over 12 years’ experience working with clients with a wide range of concerns. The approach I use allows the freedom to combine different proven therapeutic methods specific to the individual(s) experience, CBT, DBT, and Temperament Therapy which is a biblical approach to understanding mankind and our unique needs. You can achieve balance, experience hope, and realize personal achievement through positive change and renewed focus. The therapeutic process is about you and should be a safe place. I provide an experience of connectedness and a sense of belonging. There are many good therapists, but they are not like kimonos, one size does not fit all. I commend you for embarking on this journey to change and I welcome the opportunity to support you through the process. I look forward to working with you!

Kathy did not have an opening when I began therapy. I requested to wait till she had an opening. she has offered me the most amazing experience. She does an amazing job with listening and gives assignments that helps one learn and grow throughout the process.

Kathy is easy to talk to and asks good, probing questions. She's a good listener and suggests ways to work through the things we talk about.

She’s amazing. We made some incredible steps towards my healing and walk with the Lord and I’m so grateful that this platform matched me with her. She lets you be completely vulnerable and authentic and doesn’t sugarcoat anything, which is what healing is really all about. I appreciate the work I was able to do with Kathy and will continue to use the tools she gave me outside of this!

Kathy Coleman is the best. She put me at ease from day one and has helped me a ton through my grieving process. She can likely help you too!

I have been seeing Kathy for a few months now, and I have nothing but good things to say. I initially was worried about therapy in general because I tend to be a tearful mess, but her guidance is much welcomed and helpful when I get into that crying-state and she is able to pull be back from it. Highly recommend her expertise to anyone interested in bettering their lives!

Kathy has been a great help to me. The first session I had with her brought out so much that would have normally taken multiple sessions with a normal counselor/therapist I would have had in the past. I look forward to the future with her and keeping on top of everything going on in my life.

I reached out to BetterHelp to obtain counseling for my teenage daughter. She has only met with Kathy once so far but I've noticed a change in her demeanor after one session. She said Kathy was very easy to talk to and that she gave her some mental tools to try. I can't wait for my daughter to have another session with Kathy!
