Katie is an excellent listener. She gives me options and a “to do” list to keep me from back sliding. Her advise is sound, and is interested in why I might push back, without a lecture. I really feel her understanding and empathy.

Katie gave me the tools I need to begin to address my personal issue, and after only a few sessions she helped me see it is all stemming from one huge issue that I have been ignoring. Not to say that everything will be perfect after I address the big one, but I look forward to tackling my other problems with her as I work through it.

Highly empathetic without coddling me was exactly what I needed to do something about it.

Katie has been extremely helpful to me over the past month. I felt we connected swiftly and easily. She is very respectful, kind and offers good insights and homework. I feel heard and acknowledged and grateful. Making the connection with Betterhelp and Katie has felt like a very good next step for me to feel better and be better.

This is my first experience with counseling, and I was terrified that it would not work or that I would not be understood. I also do not take advice from people very well. Katie always responds with words of encouragement and true understanding. She recognizes my core issues, yet gives hope that healing is real and achievable. Thank you!

In just a couple of sessions, Katie has already provided me with compassionate feedback and given me some new tools to deal with the deep grief I am currently experiencing.

In addition, I'm finding that getting counseling via phone rather than in person seems so much more efficient and effective for me. I would highly recommend trying this to anyone who's on the fence.

Katie is excellent. She clearly has the compassion, expertise, and wisdom to listen and help you move toward your goals in therapy. She has been timely with responses, very thorough, courteous, and encouraging. She is a cut above other counselors I've tried to work with in the past, and I'd recommend working with her to other people who are willing to make changes but need some support to make it happen.
