Hello and welcome to my online therapy practice! I have ten years of experience in private practice as a licensed psychologist. I have worked with many clients who have a wide variety of concerns such as depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, adjustment to life changes, disordered eating, and trauma/abuse.
My therapy style is warm, encouraging, and non-judgmental. I view therapy as a team approach where we work together to create growth and positive changes in your life. I use a variety of therapy approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal therapy, and mindfulness based therapy. I try to adjust my therapy approach to each client's specific needs and to start wherever each client feels most comfortable.

Dr.Cowan is quick to respond. It feels like she hears you and does not pass judgement. Even though the face-to-face discussion isn't happening, she makes it a comfortable professional space to speak in. I am happy with my experience with her counseling thus far.
We haven't been working together for very long, but so far I give her five stars. Really nice, caring, responds to my messages in a very reasonable amount of time. I have trust issues, but I was quick to open up to her as she gives off a very trustworthy aura.
