About Me

Katie Ingram has worked in the mental health industry since 2007 and practiced psychotherapy in Florida since 2016.

In addition to being a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Katie is a Registered Play Therapist and uses play therapy with children ages 5 and older. She is a Guardian ad Litem in the 15th Circuit, Palm Beach County. Katie is also certified to conduct juvenile competency evaluations in the State of Florida.

Katie utilizes an integrative approach with children and adolescents, adults, and inmates and their families. Her areas of expertise include trauma and abuse, family issues, behavioral issues, anger management, and anxiety/depression. By personalizing the therapeutic experience, individuals, families, and groups are empowered to overcome personal obstacles. Her approach to therapy embraces a distinct range of psychological, behavioral, and spiritual perspectives including play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), brief solution-focused therapy, and psychoeducational therapy.

When she is not at work, you can find Katie paddleboarding with her dog, road cycling, playing racquetball or pickelball, or power-walking a 5K. She also enjoys reading, fantasy football, and charity work.
