About me

Hello, I’m Katie Noelck, a Professional Licensed Counselor in both Colorado and Utah and a champion for those in navigating the throws of life.

I have been working with families, children, adolescents and individuals for more than a decade. Throughout my career I have created safe spaces for counseling that provide people a place to talk about mental health without fear of judgment. I have provided therapy in supportive environments in family’s homes as well as for students at K-12 schools. I’m now taking my accessible approach online.

I started my education at the University of Vermont, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. I went on to complete two Masters, one in Higher Education and Student Development from the University of Denver and a master’s in counseling psychology from the University of Colorado Denver. I am trained in both clinical mental health counseling and school counseling. Specializing in depression, anxiety, trauma, sexual orientation and navigating life transitions, I have helped a lot of young people to overcome tough times and establish the self reliance to look forward to their future with hope.
The tools I use to help clients include emotional regulation, including tools from CBT, mindfulness, and teaching empowerment.

I will bring a genuine curiosity to truly hear your story and the tools to help you heal and grow. We will work through issues together, as I offer a collaborative process based on what works best for you to encourage deeper engagement.

Together we will focus on creative and engaging ways to help you get results. While sometimes challenging, the process is filled with encouragement, curiosity and discovery.

My goal is to help clients find the courage and stamina to be the agent of change in their lives and also to be their supportive guide throughout the healing process. I know from experience that change is difficult, but counseling can often provide the support that is needed during the difficult moments of life. Again and again I have seen the benefits of counseling outweigh the risks and challenges.

I would be honored to support your journey toward wellness.
