About me
I am a Social Worker licensed at the independent level in South Carolina with over 13 years of experience working as a psychotherapist and life coach. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma and emotional abuse.
My counseling style is warm and laid back. I believe in strength based counseling that empowers clients to take control of their life situations. I have enjoyed working with clients that have experienced true life changes. I believe the client has the greatest knowledge of their family and situation and therefore has the most control over the assurance of change. It is up to me to be the change agent for the client.

Katina has been wonderful. I've never had counseling before and she immediately made me feel comfortable in talking about my issues. She has also been courteous in my beliefs and how i want to handle certain stressors. She has really opened my eyes in looking at my issues more positively and staying open minded.

Katina is so kind and helpful. I always feel comfortable talking to her, and she checks up on me frequently, keeping me in check to continue counseling. I was skeptical getting a counselor, but she has proven to me that it's worth it. Katina is amazing; I highly recommend her to anyone!

Katina is extremely kind and skilled at what she does. Shes been able to help me figure things out within only a couple weeks that ive been struggling to understand for years. Her advice is extremely useful and its already helped a large portion of the issues that lead me to seek therapy. I never feel judged even if things i share can make even me question myself, even when i feel embarrassed sharing it i still feel safe and confident sharing it with her. Shes truly gifted as a counselor and i appreciate the time ive gotten to receive her help.
