My name is Katrina Charlow, and I praise you for taking your first step into finding clarity and solutions in your life. I understand that it takes courage and a sense of vulnerability to reach out for help from a professional.
I provide therapy to individuals, couples, and families dealing with relationship conflict, trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and cultural adjustment issues. I also offer therapy to children, adolescents, and families experiencing significant behavioral and/or emotional distress and disturbances causing difficulties in peer and family relationships, self-esteem, and academic/work performances. I focus on issues related to abuse, trauma, severe behavioral problems, and parenting/co-parenting. I have experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings, community mental health and school settings, as well as currently providing therapy services at my private practice, Charlow Therapy Services.
I received a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and am registered with the State of Nevada as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am also published in The American Journal of Family Therapy and The Qualitative Report, with articles addressing advantages and disadvantages of technology in relationships and its clinical application in couple and family therapy.
I look forward to working with you!

Best therapist ever!
Great working with Katrina!
She is by far just the type of support I never knew I needed. She’s been able to understand parts of me that even I wasn’t able to comprehend. Her vast knowledge and emotional capability is definitely translated through her work. I am extremely thankful to have her as my counselor.
Katrina is extremely helpful and understanding. She makes me feel safe talking to her and discussing personal issues without her imposing any judgment or bias. She is also extremely sensitive to multicultural norms. Her objective, yet caring, demeanor truly makes me understand myself more deeply to begin growing as a person.
She is extremely insightful and picks up on specifics of the things she tells you. She has opened my eyes to a lot of things I never saw in myself. She is helping me see the root cause behind some of my anxieties and thoughts and is helping me process them. She does this in a very non-judgementsl and positive way. She makes me feel heard and validated in how I feel while also helping me improve myself.

Katrina is wonderful. She is very personable and easy to talk to. She always asks what it is I'm looking for and what I want to get out of my sessions and talks with her.
