About me

Hi my name is Kayla Gladieux, and I am a Licensed Clinical/Independent Social Worker (LCSW/LISW) in the states of Indiana and Ohio. I have been a Social Worker for seven years, with four years of counseling experience. I have experience working with people who are struggle with issues such as anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma, and life transitions. I’ve worked with Veterans, as well as individuals struggling with a life-altering diagnosis, and am trained in suicide prevention.

My style uses warm understanding and trust to build a strong and collaborative therapeutic relationship. I take a client-centered, strength-based and mindful approach with my clients. I may also incorporate some cognitive-behavioral techniques in my approach in order to help the client understand and change undesirable behaviors. It is important to me that my clients feel comfortable and safe to share any fears, concerns, or other vulnerabilities and to feel heard. Using my eclectic style and compassionate approach, I will work alongside you to create a treatment plan that meets your desired outcomes.

It takes strength and courage to take the first steps towards living a happier, healthier lifestyle. I’m glad you made it here. I welcome you to allow me the opportunity to join you on your path to a better quality of life. I wish you the best on your journey, and I look forward to hearing from you!

I have only spoken to Kayla twice now and she has helped me better understand some things about myself just within those two sessions! Highly recommend!

Kayla is absolutely fantastic. She's incredibly attentive and works with you super well. She's helped me lead my own treatment in therapy and continues to support and care. Nothing but professionalism, and great compassion in Kayla.

Kayla is amazing. I started therapy as last effort to control my anxiety and depression. And she has been so amazing. She listens and understands my concerns. She addresses them in kindest way and makes me feel heard. She responds timely when I message her and is understanding when or if I’m running late for our sessions. I really enjoy have Kayla as my therapist. I plan to keep having sessions with her for a long time

Kayla seems to be genuine and wishes to get to the root or source of the issue. She listens very well and provides resource as well as literature. Kayla utilizes her education and experience to be able to asses a specific problem and also has the client interject as well when needed in the whole process which I feel is important.

I feel very comfortable talking to her. It’s like talking to a close friend who gives the best advice. She’s taught me so much in such a short time and I’ve been a better person because of it. I’d recommend her to anyone.
