Kayla Humphrey, LCSW
About me
My name is Kayla and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina with over five years of experience providing therapeutic services . I have worked in a wide range of settings to include a medical hospital, schools, and an inpatient psychiatric hospital. I have experience with clients who have a history of trauma, experience symptoms of depression and anxiety, substance use concerns, and adjustment challenges.
While I have experience using several therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, each one is client-centered focusing on the client's strengths and how to use those strengths to develop a plan to achieve goals.
It takes bravery and courage to go on this journey as it may be difficult; so I thank you for taking a leap of faith toward improving and maintaining your mental wellness with me. I look forward to working with you.
