About Me

Being at peace in the world as we face life's stresses and difficulties. This is the place I hope to bring my clients. Life is a challenge - one finds sadness and joy; darkness and light; despair and hope. We can learn how to face all of these experiences, accepting both the consolation and the trials inherent in each. I can help clients navigate this great journey, as they build the habits needed to bring fullness of life.

I hold a Master's degree in Social Work from Portland State University and have practiced in the areas of adults, children & families, couples, and geriatrics for nearly 20 years. I focus on working with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, & grief. I have substantial experience working with binge-eating disorder, geriatrics, substance use, sexual abuse, child abuse, domestic violence, and suicide. I developed my clinical experience at Vitas Healthcare (hospice), the Seminole Tribe of Florida, and other agencies both in the United States and the United Kingdom.

I utilize an eclectic approach adapted for each client, while primarily focusing on cognitive behavioral therapy and related techniques throughout the therapeutic process. Developing an awareness of our thought patterns and exploring the validity of the thoughts allows us to transform ourselves and to find greater soundness of mind. I am also able to incorporate prayer and meditation into our sessions when clients are comfortable with this approach.

Kelli is such a kind and compassionate being and she has held so much space for me through some tough times this year. She really listened to things going on with me and helped me to figure out more about myself and the way I communicate with others and things that may be triggering for me in everyday life. I feel like she’s really helpful in figuring out the main reason I may be experiencing a problem and emotion and I love that she uses different worksheets/videos and templates. I am so grateful for her help, communication and advice.

Kelli is such an amazing counselor who has really helped me see my own strengths and work towards building up my confidence again. Since starting with her, I've been making so much progress with my goals and I'm so happy about that!

I have recently started working with Kelli, she is easy to talked to, she is comforting, undertanding and makes you feel comfortable to open up.
She is knowledgeable and professional, yet friendly, I am very hopeful she will be able to help me achieve my goal and deal with trauma.

I did not expect that a virtual/online counselor would feel/be AS validating and caring/helpful.... From the start of my reaching out, Kelli has made me feel cared for and important and hopeful... like the things I told her, though tragic, could be mended. That there was hope... and we had somewhere to go, and she would be there to walk beside me. I think that is honestly all we can ask for in life... After all, God never intended man to live alone...

Work with me!
