About me

As a mother of three young children, I am able to draw from my own experience as well as my education to bring a unique perspective to therapeutic relationships. I believe in the power of relatability in order to connect with a therapist and trust them with your story.

I have a passion for helping people resolve challenges they are experiencing and to go on to live a more fulfilling life.

With compassion and warmth, my goal is to build on one’s strengths and help them to attain the personal growth and healing they are hoping to achieve.

I graduated from the University of Kansas in 2008 with a Bachelors in Communications and minor in Sociology and went on to get my Masters of Social Welfare in 2010. I have since become a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker in the State of Kansas and a Registered Play Therapist with the Association of Play Therapy. My specialties include Play Therapy, Individual Psychotherapy using cognitive behavioral therapy (both adults and children) and Family Therapy. I have been working with children, families, and adults in a clinical setting since 2010.
