Hello, my name is Kellie Harrison and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) practicing and licensed in the state of Georgia. I received my Bachelors of Science in Psychology at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee and I moved to Atlanta to obtain my Masters in Counseling at The Professional School of Psychology at Argosy University Atlanta. I graduated with my Masters in 2013 and have been practicing with licensure since then. I have 10 years of experience working in the mental health field.
I have experience in the hospital setting working with psychiatric patients and conducting group therapy with youth, adolescents, and substance abuse patients. I have worked in counseling agencies administering a wide range of assessments, conducting group therapy, and working with individuals and families. I have worked with individuals (children and adults) who have suffered severe trauma, abuse, neglect, stress, depression, anxiety, ADHD, mental breakdowns or episodes, grief, family conflicts, and strained relationships. I have worked with parents who need guidance on parenting children (biological or foster), a want to connect better with their child, and how to keep their sanity through those rough patches. I have helped individuals conquer their fears, improve on self-esteem and self-confidence, decrease in anger outbursts or aggression, assess their life goals and get on a pathway to success and improve on their quality of life.
I like to have people recognize the strengths that they possess and guide them to use it to the best of their ability. Let me help you gain back your confidence, work through those difficult times, and teach you some coping skills that you can utilize to make you the best version of yourself.

Kellie asks great questions and is able to get at the root of your concerns and struggles. She provides advice and tools that are practical and easy to implement. I leave our sessions feeling heard and empowered.
Kellie is incredibly kind and offers insight to situations in a very clear and understandable manner. I really appreciate her gentleness and offering perspective in a professional yet friendly way as well! And she checks in with me which I appreciate even when theres no appointment. Thank you Kellie!
Kellie is so awesome. I feel heard and she has really good points and advice. She is always all ears and she’s got a knack for helping people and I can’t even fathom a way to explain it better but she truly has opened my eyes to recovery.
My counselor Kelly has the innate ability to listen and feel my concern. She has been a comfort and a great support to myself, and I would absolutely refer BetterHelp To my friends and family. :)
Kellie is amazing! She is so helpful!
she is great
We’ve only officially met once but she’ll check on me throughout the week and has been very understanding about work and me having to reschedule because of it.
Kellie is really amazing. I feel really comfortable with her.
For the short time I had counsel with Kellie, she was very friendly and open. She provided a lot of resources for me to use. I would love to get betterhelp with her in the future.
I havent been working with her for very long, but so far she is incredible. Shes very understanding and encouraging.
Thank you for all of your responses so far! They've been helpful =)
Kellie was great!! She really helped me understand my emotions and my stress.
Kellie is awesome. She is patient and kind. She has really helped me out a lot and my life is on a much better trajectory now having worked with her.
Kellie is very easy to talk to and she doesn't talk too much. She knows when to allow some silence for deep thought and when to ask thought-provoking questions. She also knows when to just give some advice. She checks on me during the week with messages and I really appreciate it. She is a great listener and she really makes sure to get a grasp on your situation before commenting too much on it. Overall my experience so far has been fantastic and very enlightening.
Kellie is amazing! I actually went through a couple of different counselors who were not very responsive before I found Kellie. She is understanding, supportive, and encouraging. I could not ask for a better counselor. BetterHelp is very lucky to have Kellie as a part of their team.
