I am a licensed clinical social worker, licensed drug and alcohol counselor, and small business owner. I have been working in the behavioral health field since 2009, and I specialize in the treatment of substance use and addictive disorders, depression and anxiety, as well as eating disorders with a particular aptitude for working with individuals who suffer from binge eating disorder. I consider myself an eclectic treatment provider, well versed in cognitive behavioral (CBT), dialectical behavioral (DBT), Inner Child, Seeking Safety, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative therapies. I am passionate about connecting with clients based on their unique needs as I do not believe in a one size fits all method but instead like to determine what approach will fit best based on a person's strengths and individualized goals. In most recent years, I have acquired the additional titles of wife, mother, and elder millennial and found that my personal experience with major life transitions has helped inform my work and allowed for a bit of humble humor to make its way into my approach. Overall, I am very much a people person, I get energy from being around others and therefore helping those in need has become my life's work and I couldn't imagine it any other way.

As always she's incredible and gives me new perspectives to think about
Kelly is knowledgeable, respectful and makes herself available. She responds to messages quickly and with great incite. She genuinely cares. I would highly recommend her.
Kelly Brown is very understanding and supportive. There is no question that she is listening to your concerns and genuinely cares. She is able to make this platform feel just as personal as a one-on-one visit. She is able to calm me down when I'm stressed or having a particular rough time, just by asking questions. She is truly helpful.
Kelly has been a life saver for me. I was skeptical about being able to connect with someone online, but Kelly IMMEDIATELY jumped right into the issues I was having and met me with empathy, compassion, and practical tools to help. She is an excellent listener, gives really helpful perspective, and almost always has some very practical advice or an "assignment" I can do to process my anxiety (like a worksheet), which is something I really need. I can't recommend Kelly highly enough!
She's amazing!! Extremely kind, a great listener, gives amazing advice and insight and overall and incredible person to work with. She's helped me go through so much and I can see myself already improving in a matter of weeks.
I've only had a couple of sessions with Kelly but she's already helped me so much. Even with the time difference, she always responds to my messages and I feel like she completely understands my needs.
I love Kelly! She gives me all the encouragement and support I need to get through life’s tough situations. She’s knowledgeable and gives me a variety of tools to move forward in situations. She’s also an excellent listener when I just want to vent or gab.
Kelly has been helpful providing different tools and insights into helping me find ways to think differently.
Kelly is great listener. It is pleasure to work with her and I am appreciative for every session with her.
Kelly is an awesome listener and really invested in ones personal needs and wellbeing. It‘s super nice to work with her: she listens, immediately gives great advise and also knows when it‘s the right moment to challenge you. She is interested in the bigger picture of you and not just one specific problem which I find very beneficial. She has a broad understanding of all sorts of human struggles and always comes up with possible solutions. Thank you Kelly for this great and kind help!
I had previously lost all confidence in therapists until I met Kelly Brown. She’s kind, caring, is an amazing listener, and has a good sense of humor. Kelly, thank you so much for helping me through some dark times in my life! You are a fantastic therapist and you’ve given me a space where I feel comfortable expressing my thoughts and feelings, and I’ve never really had that before. I’ve always had difficulty with expressing these, and having someone like you has given me worlds of help! Thank you thank you thank you! Five stars!!
Great listener and good outlook as well as advice. Would recommend to anyone.
Kelly has been very understanding and provided me with perspective that I was unable to see for myself. I massively appreciate her input and her work changed my opinion on therapy itself. I’d highly recommend Kelly.
