I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings. I have developed the skill set and expertise of working many areas under the umbrella of mental health management such as: depression, anxiety, family relationships/conflict, parenting, abuse/neglect, and life transitions. I have had substantial success with providing counseling to victims of domestic violence.
My goal as a therapist is to make you feel comfortable, tap into your personal essence, and empower you through the process. I find passion in being able to connect with clients on a level defined by them, allowing me to delve deep into their problems/concerns, and help to provide well-suited solutions. My counseling style is compassionate, warm, empathetic, results-oriented, non-judgmental, and behaviorally focused. Ensuring that clients develop a stronger healthier sense of self, gain a sense of meaning in life, recognize problems, understand triggers, and modify their behaviors is my primary focus with every client.
