These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Kelly Matzke. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Kelly helped me better manage my anxiety and ADHD by working to change behaviors/responses to triggers.
Kelly has helped me slowly (and on my own terms) overcome my struggles with processing and feeling my emotions, especially so after recently experiencing a loved one pass away.
Kelly has helped me through a tough time in my life. Working with her I learned how to manage my anxiety, and I have grown in many other ways as well. I can't overstate how effective and compassionate she is and can't recommend her enough.
I have had 3 therapists in the past 20 years and after two sessions with Kelly I already feel more understood. She not only listens but has positive and helpful insight and feedback. You can tell she is invested in not only our sessions but in my well-being. I was nervous to start better help, since I had never done virtual therapy before but I’m so thankful I did because it brought me to Kelly. I look forward to my sessions with Kelly each and every week. I hope everyone gets the opportunity to find a therapist that they feel understands them and that they feel comfortable with. I’m so excited to see where this new journey of therapy takes me and I couldn’t have asked for a better Therapist to help guide me in this journey.
It has been a while since we had a session but I look forward to seeing her. I have been busy and doing okay. She attends well to my venting and processing.
Kelly listens patiently and cares. She gives good perspective and provides good summaries and help with action items.
I felt Kelly connected with me right away and that allowed me to comfortable and open up. At the end of my first session I had a great understanding for the root to my issues. Kelly had me set goals for what I wanted out of my therapy and I revisit those along with my new coping skills. Kelly even helped me rekindle a passion for an old hobby to help me express myself. It’s been truly a beautiful journey so far.
Kelly is a great listener and helps me understand myself. I would recommend her to anyone in need of support.
So far I have only had two sessions with Kelly and they have been GREAT! She’s a terrific listener and I look forward to our sessions. She has been so sympathetic and our conversations are rich. Talking to her feels like a breathe of fresh air. She’s amazing!
Kelly is an active listener who gives advice when needed. She is on-time, non-judgemental, and I love her weekly notes that seem to apply to everyone's life. Really helpful and available overall.
She is a very nice person to talk to, is supportive and understanding. She is gentle and a nice person to confide with :)
As a person going to therapy for the first time, I really lucked out with Kelly as my therapist. I felt comfortable with her sooner than anyone else I've ever talked with, and I was able to open up about tough things within the first weeks of meeting with her. The reason why I have felt so comfortable is because she is kind, genuine, patient, trusting and intelligent. I leave our sessions feeling more healed, more inspired to take positive action and in general just feeling BETTER about myself.
Kelly is supportive, understanding, encouraging, honest and helpful. She had my create goals for what I wanted to get out of therapy which is what we focused on as we moved forward. Each time we talked, she would ask how I was doing and what had been going on since the last time we talked. She was knowledgeable and remembered what we had previously talked about. Kelly agreed with me and supported my decision when I told her I wanted to try going without a counselor for a bit and see how it goes. She made me feel capable, powerful and like I am a strong person! I will forever be grateful for her and her support and helpfulness in my journey. Thank you Kelly!
Kelly is a smart individual who cares about her clients.
I look forward to meeting with Kelly each week because I come out of our sessions feeling supported, heard, and recognized. She is able to understand my perspective and listen to my experiences in a way that is reassuring, and she gives great life advice from her own perspective and wisdom. From the few weeks I've met with Kelly, I've already noticed a difference in how I can help manage my anxious thoughts and express my emotions more openly with my friends and family. If you feel like you need an outside perspective, someone to talk to, or just need help processing something, I definitely recommend meeting with Kelly!
