I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) licensed in Texas with over 12 years in practice. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, and navigating life changes. I specialize in working with clients who are recovering from a divorce, separation, or break-up.
The name of my counseling practice is Lantern Counseling because I see my role as being one who walks alongside you to help you navigate the twists and turns on the path path of life. You never have to be alone - I will be right here holding the lantern whenever we get to something that needs a little warm light shone on it. From a clinical perspective, my approach combines cognitive-behavioral, existential, solution-focused, and person-centered treatment modalities, all of which to say, I treat the "whole person."
When working with international clients, I will be acting more as a coach or consultant due to licensing requirements.
I know that it can take some courage to reach out for support and guidance on the path of life, but I firmly believe you will be so glad you did. I look forward to meeting you.

I worked with Kelly over the last 6 months for compassion fatigue, family problems, self-love & self care, codependency, and life transitions. She’s been incredibly insightful and caring throughout our counseling sessions. I’m very grateful for this counseling relationship and the progress I’ve made with her help.
Kelly has been a great help to me. She has been understanding, makes me feel comfortable and sincerely cares for my well being. I stopped seeing her and came back several months later and we just picked up where we left off. This shows she cares about her clients.
Kelly has been a godsend, I’m very grateful.
When I first signed up I was reluctant because I had never had a counselor. I didn't know where to begin but once I did I couldn't stop sharing my emotions in detail. Kelly did a great job of sorting through things and helping me establish action steps. She follows up on me from time to time and all in all I am in a much better place emotionally thanks to Kelly.
Kelly is so sweet. She offers different point of views. I feel like she is very understanding and respectful of peoples feelings. Overall, she is very respectful and knowledgeable and has helped me see things clearer!
I appreciate Kelly’s patience with me as I may be MIA at times. Thank you.
Kelly has done a great job of listening with an open ear, offering suggestions, asking questions to deepen my thinking, and acknowledged when progress has been made. I’ve enjoyed the last couple months working with her.
Kelly was great!!!
She's exceptional. You can tell she really cares, is really good at listening, and great at asking the right questions to get to the deeper issue. I so appreciate her cultural sensitivity and feel really respected and encouraged by her. The hard work of therapy doesn't feel as overwhelming because I can tell she believes in me that I can do it.
I love working with Kelly. She is great and helped me in so many ways! Really grateful for her. Highly recommend it to anyone who is struggling. She is caring, professional, supporting. I can really count on her and our weekly sessions are a blast.
She’s been AMAZING these past 2 months. Couldn’t have gotten through relationship anxiety and covid anxiety without her!!
really excellent help, only been with one just over a month and already feeling a massive difference
Kelly is a great listener and is extremely knowledgeable in what I'm going through all the time!
Kelly is absolutely wonderful. She takes the time to truly listen to you, and understand your point of view without judgement no matter how big or small your problem may be. She approaches each session with thoughtfulness, encouragement, and empathy. I would highly recommend Kelly to anyone!
Kelly is very good at what she does. She’s a spectacular listener and is very great at understanding, giving tips and validating when necessary. I have confidence that I am heard and understood when ever I have a session with her and this is very important.
Kelly is great!
Kelly is wonderful!
Now to get ready to ride out a hurricane!
A Great Listener and give the best advice she can.
I've now had 3 sessions with Kelly and she's already helped me to see things that I've been battling and struggling with for 12 years in a different light. I went into therapy not really knowing where to start or which parts of my trauma were effecting me now, after 3 hours I understand myself that little bit better and feel confident in knowing how I want my therapy to progress and what I want to work through. She meets every comment with warmth, expertise and support and I would happily recommend Kelly to anyone.
