About Me

Throughout my career as a counselor, I have had the opportunity to work with specialties including eating disorders, depression, anxiety, grief/ loss, trauma, and self-esteem issues. I would like you to feel that we are working in partnership to make changes in your life and in finding the answers for each challenge you face. Clients need support, suggestions, positive encouragement and a safe, nonjudgmental place to share issues and concerns.
Clients that struggle with disordered eating will find benefit and true empathy and understanding during our work together; many clients present with binge eating disorder, bulimia, anorexia, or other unhealthy coping patterns with food. Helping clients with coping mechanisms/anxiety allows them to experience their day to day with a more hopeful outlook.
To use my training, experience and passion to help clients pursue a healthy, confident and empowered outlook for their lives is my life's work and passion. To provide a therapy setting and be trusted with information that can be uncomfortable to discuss is a privilege and an honor that I will never stop earning with my clients through our journey.
I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Master of Education in Counseling. I am also certified Bilingual (English/Spanish) through the Texas State Department of Education and welcome Spanish speaking clients. I am certified to practice in Texas, Florida and Washington.

Kelly is great in many different ways. She does not only listen very well, but she also goes the extra mile to work with her clients. I'm based in Europe, and she is so kind to offer appointments that would not be available, and it's our weekly meeting that happens no matter what. I feel like she has helped me already a lot, and I appreciate her view on problems. She has helped me further through a terrible phase of grief, and I was so glad to have her with me in this phase. I have learned things about myself I'd not have been able to see without her. She has my full recommendation :)

Kelly has been the best therapist to me. So great that I have moved platforms to follow her. She has helped me with my issues and helped me accept myself for who I am. The work that you can achieve with her is amazing, if you are looking for a kind, amazing, friendly, non-judge mental therapist then she is your one!!! Never had any doubt about her and never will.

After my very first session with Kelly I knew I would finally start making strides in my mental health game. I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety this past year and I needed some new tools in my tool box to get through some hard events. Kelly listens to me and re phrases what she hears so I can hear my thoughts in other words (if that makes sense) and then helps me work through each and every feeling that gets stirred up. It has been life changing, and we are only a few sessions in. I am so grateful for BetterHelp and especially for Kelly!
