About me

Hello! My name is Kelsey and I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Colorado, and Utah. I have over 7 years of experience helping clients reach their goals in creating a happier and more fulfilled life. I received my Master’s degree in Social work from Augsburg University and my bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. I have been fortunate to provide care to a wide range of ages in both individual and group settings. I have experience with clients with a broad range of concerns including, motivation, life balance, depression, anxiety, advocacy, anger management, LGBT care, military, crisis situations, life transitions, trauma, and loss.

I am passionate and dedicated to providing therapy that both supports and empowers my clients. I understand that therapy isn’t always an easy process, but the journey towards navigating life challenges and self-improvement can be powerful process.

I approach therapy from a client-centered approach to establish a safe, warm environment that is respectful to all clients. I use several of evidenced-based practices to guide my work, including, cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment therapy, and solution-focused therapy. I take a strengths-based approach and trauma informed approach to my work that is flexible and responsive to my client needs. I am culturally sensitive to clients needs.
