Hello my name is Kemi Huntley and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I have a Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling. I have experience working with individuals on an authentic level; I'm always meeting individuals where they are and walking alongside this wellness journey with them to get them to a place where feel mentally strong enough to then empower themselves. In addition, I have experience in treating various mental health disorders and specialize in a few areas; stress, anxiety and depression. Stylistically, I try to encourage my clients to become self-confident and empowered. My goal is for individuals to have a more positive outlook on their lives.
My counseling style is warm and authentic; I challenge individuals in a therapeutic way as necessary to help them feel empowered. I am truly an empath and understand that fully whenever I interact with individuals; which strengthens the relationship I have with individuals. I combine different modes of therapy and interventions; but commonly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Behavior Modification, Self-Esteem Building, Conflict Resolution, Stress Management, Talk Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.
