If you are reading this, congratulations! You have taken a wonderful first step towards hope, health and self care!
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been in the Mental Health field in various capacities for 8 years in a variety of settings---the last 4 as a counselor licensed by the states of Arkansas, Missouri, and North Dakota. I have also recently added the states of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, and Oregon due to COVID-19 emergency licensing to help states in demand of mental health services. This variety of experience has given me the opportunity to gain valuable skills to help others reach their goals and full potential. Some of my areas of most experience are Depression, Anxiety, Life Changes, and Relationships---though I have also worked with anger management, mood disorders, self-esteem, trauma, sexual/LGBT issues, etc.
I love tailoring my approaches to each individuals wants and needs. I work under a couple of mottos for how I do therapy. One is "Work Hard, Play Hard" meaning, if you work hard in therapy, you will not only reap the results of your labor, but also therapy can be fun and we can laugh and have a good time-- it doesn't have to be boring--and I do my best to keep it this way, while being productive. The other is "You are the expert on yourself"-- I like to let the client take the lead because at the end of the day, it doesn't matter what I want, it matters what you want and I would love to help you get there!
I look forward to learning more about you soon and helping you take the steps to a better you!

She is fantastic and empathetic to all my situations but makes sure that she gives me things to think about so I can change and grow.
She is very helpful. My life has gotten easier, but I still can’t imagine not having her to talk to every day. Even if I don’t check in, she checks in with me, anyway to see how things are going.
Kendly has been amazing to work with in regards to helping me with my depression and confidence issues. She's super friendly to talk to and always available to talk when needed. I highly recommend her!
Kendyl has been an amazing counselor so far and I feel lucky to have been matched with her. She is very kind, considerate, and understanding. It's nice that we have some similar interests to bond over too. She does a great job of making you feel comfortable talking to her and she's just an easy person to talk to about my life's challenges.
Kendyl is very easy to talk to and I dont feel pressured to move in any direction I am not ready for. She knows I am struggling currently and has checked in on me during my withdrawn phase and it helped me find the courage to keep working on me. She is now part of my support team and I am excited to continue to work with her.
Kendyl was always supportive and would always get back to me in a timely manner. She definitely knows when to be serious and professional but makes it comfortable for me to tell her the hard stuff. She has helped me in so many ways and she is awesome.
Kendyl is a kind and wise soul. She is adaptable to my needs and is willing to speak. She models healthy boundaries and healthy living in a way I aspire too. She is warm and non judgmental but willing to always tell me like it is.
Kendyl is one of a kind. She's goofy when the time calls for it, but when it's time to buckle down and be serious about topics, she can switch gears and handle what needs it. She's pretty great!
Kendyl is an absolutely great counsellor and a good listener. I really like her!
I absolutely love Kendyl! She is so sweet and like talking to a best friend, being able to talk to her has brought a sense of peace and clarity to my life that I will be forever thankful for.
Kendyl is really amazing. She is patient and listens well. She understood my concerns and gave me good actionable advice.
I love Kendyl. Every time we work together I feel better and ready to take on my anxiety.
Kendyl is very upbeat, friendly, and encouraging. She is great with follow up and it's all still very new, but I think we're going to do great together!
When Kendyl and I chat, I feel understood and respected which, in turn, boosts my self-confidence. At the same time, she challenges me to explain to her what drives some of my thoughts, and these challenges often lead to insights. I highly recommend Kendyl as a counselor.
