About me

Hello, my name is Ken. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor for over 20 years. I have successfully worked with individuals with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, substance use and various other issues. I have successfully worked with clients from within a prison, residential care, large and small community mental health centers and within my private practice.
My approach to counseling is first of all to earn your trust through what I call, Emotional Safety, which is where you can say anything to me without you feeling or being criticized, judged, or ridiculed. My style of counseling is conversational and meeting you where you are in the present. My goal is to provide you with a safe environment to work on the issues most important to you and, therefore, collaboratively develop a treatment plan that reflects your goals and interests. If you would like to engage in counseling, I would be glad to take that first step with you as you begin the journey. Thank you, Ken

Honestly I’ve been through a few people on here. Kenneth is the first one I have actually gotten along with and the first one I’ve felt felt confident in his ability to help me. I would recommend him to anyone I know in a heart beat.
