About me

I am an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker in good standing with the state of Texas. I graduated from Texas A&M Commerce with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I continued my education completing the Master of Science in Social Work program at Texas A&M Commerce. As an LCSW, I have completed the additional hours of training that qualify me to work in a clinical setting. From 2004 I worked at a local mental health and addiction hospital where I specialized and provided individual, family, and group therapy working with adults, adolescents, and children to assess, diagnosis, treat, and prevent mental illness, as well as emotional and behavioral disturbances. I worked on the stabilization care unit and I worked serving clients in the Intensive Outpatient Program. My goal is to help clients improve their lives and guide them every step of the way and implement various methods to help them develop new attitudes towards all of life’s most complex matters, and to serve as a guide as they work towards meeting their therapeutic goals and to build on the clients strengths to utilize and develop new coping skills.
