About Me
Are you struggling with sadness?
Unhappy in your current life situation?
Do you feel stuck?
The daily stresses of life can build until we feel completely overwhelmed with life. Sometimes we feel lost, alone, or depressed; we may even feel confused and hopeless about the future. These feelings are very ‘normal,’ yet most of us feel as if we are falling apart. Psychotherapy can help you work through problems in relationships, at work, or with feelings of unhappiness or not being good enough. If you find yourself struggling with sadness or feeling stuck, we can work together to get you moving in your best direction.
I’m excited to offer comprehensive mental health services in Montana, working with adults in short and long-term psychotherapy and counseling. I received my master’s degree from Phillips Graduate Institute in Los Angeles, CA. After practicing in the LA area for over 10 years, I relocated to Montana in 2014 to raise my children in Big Sky Country. Currently, in private practice in Bozeman, I work with adults, children, adolescents, and families, helping them manage many issues through their time of growth. I also offer support to parents as they work their way through the many challenges of parenthood (including issues related to blended/stepfamilies and families with children who were adopted).
Through the years, I’ve helped adults heal unresolved wounds from childhood, achieve greater self-awareness and self-esteem, improve relationships with partners, friends, and co-workers, increase their ability to make life-enhancing choices, and improve everyday life issues.
In addition, I specialize in the field of trauma and grief. A member of ISST-D, ISTSS, and AAETS (International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation, The International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies, and the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress), I have received additional training and attended many conferences in the areas of trauma and stress. Striving to offer the most complete help I can, I’ve continued my education and training, keeping up on current research and information so that you can have more options that help you move towards your goals. Currently, I am competing a 3 year training program in Somatic Experiencing (SE) for work with trauma.
I have dedicated myself to assisting others through the difficult times in their lives, as I know from my own personal experiences that life can be downright hard at times. (And sometimes, the word ‘hard’ doesn’t even cover it!) Believing that we all have the power and ability to make positive changes in our lives to grow and learn, I know sometimes we just need help finding our strengths to do so. Together we'll explore your goals, engage your personal potential, and find your own unique solutions to the challenges you face. We’ll discover ways for you to go beyond just surviving and into thriving! We all have our own unique story and experiences; it's a privilege when individuals choose to share their stories with me.
No one needs to walk this journey alone. Let me help facilitate change using your inner resources, while we work collaboratively in a safe and supportive environment. We might work together to heal old wounds left over from childhood or explore what it is that you want or need in your life now, and how to make that happen.
It can take courage to admit that we sometimes need help, but nobody does everything on their own.
Now that you've taken the first step by reading this, let's talk and see how I might be able to help get you moving in your ‘right’ direction. Let's discover your own best ways of being.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Keri Zwerner. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Better Help and my therapist have been there for me through all my tough times.
I was pretty turned off by therapy with the previous therapists I've been paired with through BetterHelp and decided too stop for awhile. Then decided to give it another try. Keri has been my therapist for almost year now and I can't believe how much if difference having an amazing therapist makes! So glad that Keri is my therapist!
Keri is an amazing therapist. She has helped me immensely. Keri listens to me and offers different perspectives and options. She has proven to be my favorite therapist out of my 4 different therapist I’ve had.
She is friendly without over stepping and always available to talk even for a few minutes.
Highly recommend Keri. In the short time I have been working with her, she has been able to help me get out of my thoughts and start to work through things in a positive, healthy manner. I don’t feel foolish or embarrassed to talk to her. She is the best!
Very helpful and responsive.
Keri has been a great help in assisting me push through numerous barriers as I work to heal traumatic wounds.
I really appreciate Keri, she offers great insights and asks good questions that help me reflect more on my own issues. I was worried about trying therapy but so far I'm really happy that I did.
I adore Keri so far! I feel like she doesn’t judge me and calms me down when I’m upset. She’s a hero!
I like Keri. She is very knowledgeable and caring. I love that I don't feel like just another session, I am still a person. Keri has helped me with things that I thought I was over but realize now I wasn't. Keri is helping in ways that I didn't think would anyone ever could.
I'd been working with Keri for a short time but being able to talk with someone who cares has been great.
Keri is thoughtful, extremely intelligent and helps to navigate my husband and I through I very traumatic experience and relationship in our lives. She does it with grace, kindness, and expertise. We are so grateful for her!
Great use of philosophy. Great at find truth through questions.
Keri is patient, understanding, and supportive. She is helping me to help myself. She meets me at my place and my level. Though I am a pretty new patient, I look forward to continuing to work toward my goals.
So far so good! Great communication, easy to talk to, listens, doesn’t jump to conclusions about me (a problem I’ve had in the past). Overall a great experience meeting with Keri.
