Hello, I am Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts, with over 10 years of experience working as therapist and counselor. Clinical Social Work has been my focus throughout my education. My Bachelors of Social Work is from Elms College where I graduated magna cum laude. I was fortunate to be accepted into the Advanced Standing Program at Boston College's Graduate School of Social Work, where I received my Masters in Social Work.
My background is varied and extensive. I have worked with clients struggling with depression, parenting struggles, infertility, family dynamics, trauma, abuse, gang violence, domestic violence, ADHD, OCD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, developmental disabilities and those experiencing unexpected life changes. Over the years I have worked in urban and suburban areas and understand the unique challenges of each environment.
It is my belief that humor is wonderful tool in therapy. Being able to help someone smile is one of the greatest abilities we as humans have. With that said I also understand the serious nature of difficulties that cause people to seek out therapy. Therapy can be an uncomfortable concept for some. Unfortunately mental health services still carry a stigma for some. You will find that my style is welcoming, non-judgemental and empathetic. My approach is client centered and I use a combination of solution focused, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic counseling methods. However, I will tailor our interactions and your treatment plan to best meet your needs. Therapy is not a one size fits all intervention and it is important that you feel comfortable with our plan and goals. We will work as a team every step of the way.
Seeking out assistance is not always easy. I applaud your fortitude and willingness to work towards change.
It would be an honor to be part of your team!

Kerri is fantastic, I have worked with 5 plus therapist and counselors and she is the only one that seems to understand me and my needs. Always sharing resources and communicating with me through the app. She is the best, highly recommended!
